How did we get into the processing of multi-chloride brine?

Well as “they” say:

“Necessity is the mother of invention!”

World’s second largest salt mine collapses - 3.8 on the Richter Scale.  18+ billion gallons of water flowed into the mine at the rate of 20,000 GPM for 21 months.  Due to the mine subsidence this 100% saturated brine is being squeezed out at 100 GPM.  This brine is salt (NaCl) saturated with Calcium, Magnesium, Barium, Strontium, etc that is picked up from all the rock formations above the mine both going in and out as we are pumping from above the mine to prevent the infiltration of fresh water that could trigger further subsidence.  Hence, the brine we encounter has the same elements in it as in pretreated Frac Wastewater!

Most cost effective way to battle the problem is crystalization.  Cheapest because it has the ability to recoup some or all of the operating costs.

We have not developed just a plant but a process to build and operate a multi-chloride crystallizer plants to answer the problem of how to convert frac wastewater into beneficial products.

We have developed the ability to manufacture adn operate plants using the process we have developed.  The manufacturing is in our 450,00 sq. ft. plant with 55' clearance under teh high bay, which allows complete assembly of a plant inside and easy field installation.
